Tonight I met up with ex-house mates cum good friends cum colleagues (haha so many identities) Ying Jun, Li Siang and Jason (this one's not a colleague), and also good friend cum colleague to have pre-birthday celebration for Li Siang and Jason. We have chosen the newly open Food and Tea at Boulevard area but the food did not turn out well. However we had a great time, not because of the food (of course!!!) but the joy of meeting up with friends.
Over the dinner I learned that all the while Jason has thought that his birthday is a few days away from mine, which actually is his and Li Siang's. And Li Siang was teasing him on his worries on what present should he get for me (so sweet haha). The knowledge on this made me feel a bit 'pai sei' as the gift I have prepared for him is very simple.
We have ordered so many food that when it was time for the birthday cake, everyone almost gave up dy. I should have eaten less so that my stomach would have more space for the cake.
Chai Huon and I went to Bintang to check out the movies but we were disappointed with what thery have to offer, in the end we just left witrhout selecting any of them. No point to watch movie just for the sake of 'wanting to watch a movie'.
